Speaking of, I’ve had multiple people over the past few years try to convince me that Speed is not just a fun, throwaway flick about a runaway bus, but an actual good movie. My response has always been: “Yeah … it’s a fun movie to watch if if you can’t fall asleep or something, I guess … but, yeah, well, I’m taller.”

One sad omission from this post is Patrick Swayze’s “I drive ’cause I had to make a living.”
So fitting that it ends with Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer.
